THE VINEYARD IN INTEGRATED PRODUCTION

The estate’s main production is the vineyard. Its production of about 700 tons of grapes, mainly the Loureiro and Vinhão grape varieties, which correspond to 1000 barrels of wine, is delivered to the Ponte de Lima Cooperative Winery, which takes on the important mission of transforming its fruit.  

With its 70 hectares of land, 50 of which are entirely dedicated to the vineyard, it is not surprising that the farm is the largest producer of Adega Cooperativa de Ponte de Lima. 

At Quinta da Codeçosa we care about the preservation of natural resources, the regulation of the ecosystem, animal welfare, the promotion of biodiversity, the balance of the nutrient cycle, the preservation and improvement of soil fertility and the demand for the quality of agricultural products. 

Our vineyards are managed in integrated production, adopting good agricultural practices that guarantee a sustainable balance.
